I found the Connectable library to be useful, but quite restricted. Its semantics of specifying specific pairs of interfaces which can be connected allows flexibility in the kind of connections it can be used to define, but is also limiting in the common case of a single unidirectional Get/Put connection, which can usefully be defined between a wide variety of interfaces. This library defines two typeclasses Source and Sink and a module mkFlow which connects instances of them together.

I note that Source/Sink overlap with ToGet/ToPut a great deal, and indeed many of my instances are defined using the latter, but I felt it was important that Source/Sink preserve data transfer semantics, which some instances of ToGet/ToPut do not (e.g. Reg).

I make this available under the BSD Licence.
